Fishy Fish - triptych
With these three paintings, I wanted to challenge myself and the viewer to think differently about abstraction. using a relatively simple subject, in this case, a clownfish. I used digital tools, to gradually abstract the shape - carefully gauging how much I could alter it while retaining a sense of recognizability. There is a set progression in the paintings which can be seen as the last fish lacks a head entirely.
